Why Japan should be your next vegan vacation destination
Of the millions of visitors who flock to Japan each year, few ever make it out of the city limits of Kyoto and Tokyo. As iconic as these two cities may be, Japan has so much more to offer. Kyushu is one of the four main islands that make up the Japanese archipelago. The most southerly of the four main islands, Kyushu in November is still a warm and pleasant place to hike and bike. Our vegan tour showcases the natural beauty of Aso-Kuju National Park, as well as the local art and customs that make this region unique. From our first base in Aso, we explore the volcanic calderas and carter rim of Mount Aso. From our second base in Minamioguni, we explore the famous hot springs and impressive peaks of the Kuju Mountains. Whether you prefer long days in the saddle or a long soak in the thermal baths at Kurokawa Onsen, our vegan tour of Japan has something for everyone.
